What Are the Benefits of CBD Products in Animals?

Many people use CBD as a treatment for various ailments — most commonly, pain and anxiety. When CBD is ingested or applied to the skin, it’s believed to interact with the body’s endocannabinoid system (ECS), which regulates pain and inflammation. All animals, including vertebrates (mammals, birds, reptiles, and fish) and invertebrates (sea urchin, leeches, mussels, and others) also have endocannabinoid systems, therefore have demonstrated the same results when ingesting or applying CBD.

How Do Pets Use or Take CBD?

Like cannabis, CBD comes in many forms, some of which are edible, and others are used on the body’s exterior, like a rub or cream.
